ABOUT ECBVA

Our program, formerly known as the ICE Beach Volleyball Club, started in 2008 in Princeton, NJ and has since grown to over 250 players! Our eight years of experience in running a youth sand program has enabled us to put together a premier program,one which is sure to leave each player with a thorough knowledge of all aspects of beach/sand volleyball. The program is run asfollows: Each player is assigned a night to play; practice nights factor in a players availability, skill level, and age (ages 10-18 accepted). Practices will occur one day per week (5:30-8:00 pm), running from early June until late July, where players will learn all about the game of beach volleyball from our experienced staff. In addition, players over 14 years old will be required to compete in at least two 2vs2 tournaments held at the Jersey Shore all summer/every weekend though Great American Volleyball.  Note: tournaments cost extra (approx. $25/player per event) as they are not directly affiliated with our program.

Did you know that Beach Volleyball is considered the best cross-training available for an indoor player to improve their game?Did you know that players can earn scholarships to play Beach Volleyball for college and that our program produced the FIRST EVER player from New Jersey/Pennsylvania to earn a scholarship to play beach volleyball at a Division 1 school?   Did you know that we currently have FIVE ECVBA players being actively recruited for college sand volleyball? This is all true and all great reasons to come out and play with ECBVA!! Give it a shot, we promise you will LOVE it!!

WHERE WILL WE PLAY?

This program will be held at several this year: Morris Davison Park in Plainsboro NJ and Mercer County Park in West Windsor NJ, and a park (exact location not set) located in Eastern Bucks County, PA.  NJ players: Your playing location will be determined by which group you are assigned to (determined by skill level and player availability).  PA Players: It is likely players will be playing at Macclesfield Park in Yardley, however we may also offer the program in Doylestown.

COST?

CURRENT WWVBC PLAYERS: There is a reduced fee of $25, our thanks for your support of our indoor program.

NON-WWVBC PLAYERS and PAGS PLAYERS : The cost is $175 for the 9 weeks of play and all players must maintain a current athlete membership through AAU. Note- while we will attempt to make up rain dates, this is not guaranteed.

HOW TO SIGN UP- 4  STEPS

(1) All players must sign up by going to wwvbclub.com and choosing the “beach volleyball” tab. When registering, pay attention to the location you choose (NJ or PA). (2) Once you register, your application is not finalized until you pay the required fee ($25 for WWVBC players and $175 for non-WWVBC players. Note PAGS program players are required to pay the full $175 fee). You will receive a Pay Pal payment link via email after registering. (3) All players must have a valid (expired 9/2014) AAU player membership. If you do not have this, visit aausports.org and reference club code WW349F.  (4) All players MUST email a copy of their AAU membership card to michaelvajo@comcast.net by 4/15/2014.  No exceptions!!!
